ECB Statistical DataBank Browser Interface (EBI)
Statistical Data Warehouse replaces EBI

Statistical data are now easier to search and retrieve through the new
Statistical Data WarehouseA Java browser for on-line access to the data in the ECB Statistical DataBank
(ESDB). The browser also provides transformations of data, information about
the data (metadata), and allows the export of data and metadata in different
formats.
The EBI is a Java applet that enables you to search, display and save ECB statistical
series.
- The EBI is a Java applet, which means that you need a Java plug-in on your
PC. See instructions.
- To support the use of the application a full help facility is included.
When using the EBI, if you right-click or press F1, a Help window
will pop up.
- The EBI enables you to save your searches and the results of such searches.
In order to use this feature, some changes to
your Java security file need to be made.
Browser Interface
To launch the EBI
click here. An internet browser window will open. Please keep it open while using
the EBI.
Library of pre-selected series for loading in the EBI
Sets of pre-selected series
can be directly loaded in the EBI; no search is necessary. Just by clicking on the corresponding
link you will be able to see these series in the EBI.
